eGaming License Application

How is egaming regulated

Meet the regulator

The gaming regulations are administered by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (the Regulator). This is the sole regulatory body responsible for all gaming activities carried out from Malta and these include: Amusement Machines, Broadcasting Media Games, Casinos, Commercial Bingo Halls, Commercial Communication games, Horse racing, the National lottery, Non-Profit games and Remote Gaming.

The Regulator’s regulatory regime aims to be both technologically neutral and game neutral. The regulator’s regime makes no difference as to the type of game or the means of communication used . Any remote game which can be securely managed under the Regulator’s regulations will be considered for licensing.
